台灣鼎泰豐 DIN TAI FUNG

Continue to talk about my trip in Taiwan......yes, a bit lazy to write recently, BUT Amelie's school term is started on last Friday and my E is not here for a week, so that means I can have some private time now....

鼎泰豐 DIN TAI FUNG is my favourite restaurant in Taiwan, of course its famous soup dumpling 小籠包is my favourite food there.  I've been to its HK restaurant, but still I think the best taste is in Taipei, and my cousins, who's fm. L.A., also said the dumplings sold in L.A. is a bit different than in Taipei, so for the original taste, you must go to the one in Taipei.

Side dish, I love the tofu and kind of everything mixed together.

My favourite dessert, sorry I forget the name but I know it when I read their menu.  Not so sweet, with red beans and some other kind of beans inside.  I love to order this dessert everytime I visited there, but my E and my Mom and brother, they don't like this dessert, that's why you see I have ordered one piece only, kind of lonely, but I think IT"S SO YUMMY!

Amelie's new toy, everytime we go travel, for sure she will bring home over 10 toys! (It's a microphone with music fm. a Japanese TV mermaid cartoon 珍珠美人魚).

Most tourists love to take pic at the front door to show they have visited DIN TAI FUNG, esp. Japanese tourists.

Her favourite?  Even in a 5-star hotel restaurant, all she asked for is a bowl of white rice, yes, just RICE....
