The first time we went to Tokyo, Japan was 8 years ago (Amelie was not born yet). Everything seems so expensive to me at that time, but I like Japan, so neat, tidy, clean, modern and everyone is so polite
. My E. has lived in Osaka for 2 yrs., so he planned the trip this time, and I didn't need to worry of anything, and just enjoy my vacation.
We went to Kyoto directly fm. Kansan Airport the 1st day we arrived. I was so tired
(we arrived very late on that day), carrying all the baggages, with Amelie and her stroller, and we still needed to take the subway to the hotel. After I passed the gate, I forgot to take the ticket back
; so when we got out of the station, and that exit has no officer there, so I just walked out directly w/ my E. and Amelie using one ticket only
. I was so afraid we have been taped on the subway station v-camera.
The 2nd day, we started our "temple" trip, as Kyoto has lots of temples/ shrines. We went to 西本願寺 and 東本願寺, cos they are very near to the Kyoto train station, so we can walk around in that area. Here are some pics:
西本願寺 ( the main temple is under construction):

東本願寺; my travel guide book has pic of this lantern, so I asked me E to take a pic too.

There's a "sakura" tree there!

We felt so cold when we first arrived there.
