School Activities

Amelie's school has lots of activities going on every week.  Book week, Dr. Seuss's birthday, big brothers/ sisters coming to read books for them, popcorn day, Pyjamas Day, Strawberry Tea (charity concert for raising money for another school in poor area)............etc.  I talked to one of the mommy and I said "wow, they have so many activities", but this mother is very cute and she said "of course, the school fee is so expensive".  Well, I never think of money=quality in school.  I always bought small gifts for her teacher everytime I came back fm. Taiwan/ Japan/ HK.  I've never think of the money I paid means she must be good to my child.  I just want to be nice to her, showing I'm a really nice mother, instead of a picky mother.  Anyway, her school has lots of meeting/ conference for parents as well, but I only attended once, cos it's too BORING, I almost fell asleep.  Here are some interesting pics:

Behind her is Judah.  He's the one who gave her a Valentine's Day card, and last week they visited the Post Office, Park"n"Shop Supermarket, and PaPa Jones to make pizza, he asked his teacher to have Amelie to be his partner.  But Amelie seems to like another Chinese boy now, who gave every girls in the class a Barbie doll  in his birthday party.  I wonder if Amelie like the Chinese boy because of the Barbie.

Pyjamas Day - everyone brought a stuffed animal and a bed-time story book.  The middle girl is Sari, she's from Japan, and she's like a big sister to Amelie; the other girl is Joey, from Malaysia.  They're really good friends!

There's only 11 children in a class, so they are really close to each other, and that's why Amelie loves school so much.  When we were in Japan, everyday she woke up, she'd ask me if she can go to school today.  I'm happy that she loves school so much and hope she can make lots of lots of friends in the future!
