Self-centered?

Watched a Japanese TV program yesterday about under what kind of emotion can make women sick.  Rank No.1 is to live with mother-in-law; No. 2 is husband has an affair; No. 3 is child's problem.  Then the doctor in the TV show said, " since we have only one chance to live once in our lifetime, sometimes we need to be a bit selfish & self-centered, not to let anyone bother you/ affect your emotion."  Wow, she's so right!  Sometime we just care others more than ourselves which lead us to unhappiness and depression!
