Stroke II

I sent my last blog about "Stroke" to my other friends too, and today I got an email fm. my best high school friend from Toronto, saying she wishes she got this email earlier cos her Dad just passed away last month of brain stroke.  Her Dad kept complaining hard to raise his arm, but it did improve the other day, so she really didn't take much attention of it, and when their family knew something wrong of her Dad, it's too late.  But she said at least he didn't suffer much.

I was so shock when I read her email, and I feel sad too.  Her Dad was very kind to every VISA students ( go to Canada to study alone), like me.  Every big festivals, e.g. x'mas/ Chinese New Year, he 'd invite us to his home to have dinner, play majong........He's a kind, generous and mercy Uncle.

This Feb., when my friend went back to HK with her hubby and son, I did meet his Dad in the restaurant too.  He looked so healthy and young, same as I was still in Toronto.  Can't believe he passed away.  My friend is pregnant now, and I hope that she's OK, but I think it's hard, cos their family are so close to each other.

Yes, at least he didn't suffer much.  Hope this kind Uncle rest in peace, and bless his new-coming grandson.
