Amelie has her first violin lesson today; as I expected, she cried after the lesson,
but not because she's afraid, she said she's hungry! I always wonder maybe she's too small to learn violin now.
We went to HK to buy the 1/16 violin cos I can't find one in SZ, and only when we went to the 3rd shops in TuenMun, we found the smallest violin.
I almost gaveup hope that we can find one, so I asked Amelie, maybe when she grows older than she can learn violin, BUT she insisted to learn,
I have no idea. I asked her to learn piano, she said NO.....why?
I can't understand what a child is thinking. Usually, child starts to learn violin at age 5/6. But on the other hand, I think violin is good for her to learn, cos we need to travel a lot, moving one country to another, and so it's more convenient to "travel" than piano, and she's the only child, so I told her violin will be your best friend cos when you're sad and lonely, you can play violin.
Hopefully she can continue the violin lesson,
the teacher looks young and good, and it's a one by one lesson. For ballet, I think it's better to start when she's older. I found a school in HK- TuenMun, but I'm really lazy to travel to HK every weekend, and her father is worried her legs will not look good as to start to dance so early. So I told her if she can continue to learn violin for a while, maybe I'll send her to learn ballet.
I think to be a mother is really not an easy job!
