• Tung Chung Skateboard Park

  Tung Chung Skateboard Park is now officially open. VANS HK, 8FIVE2SHOP, HKIT and HK X-Fed organized an opening party with a Bowl Jam Contest, the first time of it’s kind in Hong Kong. The winner of the Bowl Jam session is going to Beijing Woodward sponsored by Vans HK.

  It was a real beautiful day and everyone was having so much fun. Thank God, there was plenty of Watson’s mineral water at the event or there would be some cramping going on.

  Now, go get your visa and skate Tung Chung Skateboard Park. It is definitely one of the best skate parks by far. Too bad, it’s too damn far, I guess, the saying ‘Nothing’s Perfect’ is always right.

  Thank you VANS HK for always supporting skateboarding here in Hong Kong, 8FIVE2SHOP and HKIT for being the real skateboard shops in Hong Kong, HK X-Fed for always organizing it. Of course, all the local skateboarders that keep skateboarding.

  RESULTS:
  1) Best Bowl Jam – Phillipe Amar (Going to Beijing Woodward)
  * Phillipe passed the ticket to Piet Guilfoyle (1st runner up) because Phillipe said he couldn’t take any vacation time. Mad generous.

  2) Best Style – Piet Guilfoyle (8FIVE2SHOP, Vans HK, Know1edge flow)

  3) Best Line – Chris Bradley (8FIVE2SHOP, Lakai HK, Know1edge flow)
