nope, it isn't...from the outside, maybe yes, only that the thorn isn't as sharp and pointy as the durian's...the fruit is nothing like durian, it's small and sweet...=)

i think u can say that it's a very unique fruit, bcuz even west Malaysians do not know of this fruit, when we're actually from the same country!

yes, we tropical countries have many unique fruits...=) do come by South East Asia again, but u can only taste Tarap in the island of Borneo...i was told it cannot be found elsewhere...

no...it's not nangka...and not cempedak...
this fruit, the skin is soft, u can just peel off the skin with ur bare hands...nangka and cempedak are both hard, no choice but to use a butcher's knife or a parang...

Is it Nangka(yellow) or Cempedak? Looks like... but no idea whether it is. How does it taste like? as in the smell.

i was born, raised and educated in Malaysia, don't speak real fluent Japanese, but i can speak fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, English and Malay...some Indon, Hokkien, and Korean...i could hold an argument in writing when i chat with my Indonesian friends, so i guess it's ok...i could tell what people are talking in Hokkien as long as they don't talk like a bullet train, so i guess i'm ok...i survived 1 week in Korea and got what i asked for, so i guess i'm fine...

i love to learn languages, photography, traveling, and of course hanging out with my friends, having a good laugh, eat and drink...
i can't live without my PC and music...
