About your RED question - Cerina - you should look at the RED One camera like you'd lok at a film camera except that you save money on the stock and processing... that's where the savings are. I think a lot of people want to own them but realize they won't really use them enough. The cheaper one will come out "end of 2009" which means beginning of 2010 probably... and that one with some accessories will be under 4k probably if you get the one with the built in lens. So - that one I could see indies use... however... it has a smaller sensor, so the depth of field won't be the same as 35mm or the RED one. also btw, by then, the next gen Epic from RED will be out, so if you rent then, you'd probably rent an Epic. hope that info helps. (I own RED number #89 and that's how I managed to pay for it with rentals... I had it when there were not many around and no one was renting it out back then without the owner going along and I was too busy - so I took a chance on just sending it out on it's own Was just lucky timing for me, I happened to have heard about it early.)
Yeah... I read that several years ago and liked it alot. I was in the middle of reading "The Yiddish Policeman's Union" right before the two Marquez novels but couldn't get through it because it didn't spark interest... Have you read "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman/Terry Prachett?
Finished reading 100 Years of Solitude and loved it. Any heartwarming book recommendations? Winter is already cold and dark as it is, so I can use a pick-me-up right now... Happy new year!
