Here are some picts of our October holiday to Boracay in the Philippines. Despite the threat of typhoons, we went and had a great time. Next year, let's all meet in Thailand. Bali? I'm easy, where do you want to go?

For two weeks, I bummed around Beijing and the Olympics with Jesse Warren as he explored the cultural side of the games for his freelance photography work.  Here's a recap from my lens with no particular theme in mind; just shot what I liked.

Safari in Kenya

In early August 2008, I spent three days on the Masai Mara Game Reserve as part of a month long video and photo shoot in East Africa for commercial and documentary use.  I traveled with 14 people, a few of which are shown in images here.  Most of these photos are of animals I encountered and the serene landscapes of the Kenyan plains.  As we also visited a Masai village during this time, I have included a few of those pictures here too.  I hope you enjoy the images and, as always, your comments are appreciated.

Shades of Shenzhen

This is a personal project of mine that will be ongoing.  Although I live in Shenzhen, until recently, I have neglected taking photos here.  This is, in part, due to my fascination with new places.  Making photographs in my own backyard doesn't  hold the same appeal for me, so I must force myself to get out, explore my own neighborhood and capture the images.  If you are in the area and you want to shoot together, I welcome company on night shoots.  Enjoy the shades.
