  The rumour is unfortunately true – Clockenflap Music and Multi-media Arts Festival is postponed until 2011 due to a number of complex and unsurpassable issues surrounding our venue of choice for 2010. But we’re not going to let that get us down, or stop us continuing our efforts to move things musically forwards in this already awe-inspiring city.
   
  We here in Hong Kong are no strangers to clubs: posh clubs, exclusive clubs, sports clubs, secret clubs. Clockenflap are proud to announce our own membership format.
  Clockenflap Society of Clockenflap aims to bring together like minded music and film lovers with a passion for the festival format.
   
  To launch the Clockenflap society of Clockenflap Members Card we’ve pulled out all the stops to find a fantastic indoor venue, Blindspot Gallery - that will let us deliver an unforgettable experience. We've booked a band which represents the very epitome of Clockenflap ideals: versatility, sustainability and creative inspiration - The Charlatans.
   
  For more than two decades now, The Charlatans have been an inspirational force in British rock. As they celebrate their twentieth anniversary, they remain as exciting and relevant now, as when they first broke through to the immortal strains of ‘The Only One I Know’ – if not, more so, as a new generation of young bands and fans today hail them as lifelong heroes.
   
  Joining The Charlatans on the 20th November will be electronica supremo DJ Food, the Ninja Tunes legend brings his audio-visual spectacular to HK for the very first time. Rivermouth, formerly of Waxed Apple fame will also be gracing our shores for acoustic looping mayhem.
   
  With a host of local artists including DP, Robot, Modern Children, Rachel Believes In Me, Ned, Shaun Martin and Of Moths & Stars this will be a one-off launch event like no other.
   
  One warning – our capacity is limited so only members will be invited to this event. If you want to be one of the few, all you need to do is sign up to be a Clockenflap Society of Clockenflap member. Please see www.clockenflap.com for details
   
  The membership to Clockenflap Society of Clockenflap is valid for 12 months and grants members an invitation to the launch event on the 20th November 2010, discounts on future Clockenflap events, discounts on Clockenflap merchandise and updates on upcoming shows and happenings.
