    I could not get 2 sleep... therefore tried some experimental lighting with myself....

    Almost had the flash flashing in2 my eyes for 20 times until I got this image...  which looks... hm... 'ok', just a bit scary looking, haha.  But I think I am going 2 b blind soon... after having that flash flashes on my face... ouch...



    I took this shot all by myself using the Canon 400D and the lomo colour flash (prob. the cheapest equipment that a photographer can afford... cos I am poor!)

    Did play ard a little in photo shop cos its over exposed a lot... I still need 2 try out few more times until I get it rite...

    Until then, I will upload it here :)

    Oh it's good, Nice work.

    It's not the equipment that makes the photographer, it's the eye, and you're damn good at it.

    There is no getting it right, just getting what you want.  I have noticed that when photographers do headshots of women of a "certain age", they usually over expose the hell out of the shot so that all the lines, bags and sags miraculously disappear, and what you are left with is this overexposed canvas punctuated by dramatic eyes and lips.  Now that I've reached that age, works for me. :-)
