  Thanks Edmund. That's what I get for listening to the news instead of reading it as usual.  They said they shot 2 pups. Sounds like they shot the mom and 1 off spring.  I guess if they wouldn't let go, that's what they had to do.  Assuming that must be poor training because they should release if the master says so (assuming the master did) right?

  yesterday, a woman was attacked by her daughter.  the woman owned several pitbulls.  one of the pits umped to defend it's owner and killed the daughter.  the police killed it and it's 2 pups.  my question to a professional like yourself is, 'was it necessary to put them down?'  dog was doing what it was trained to do, defend it's master.  they didn't say if it went of a blood frenzy or anything.  it's still really unclear to me why the killed the pups.  it makes no sense.
