    佢哋喺Malaysia 經商，大部份係有錢中國人。離開咗中國， 結婚就只好找Malay人........佢哋係第一代Mix

    Hi Ella, i'm sorry i'm very slow on this one. Couldn't see the photo of the house, but i'm sure you're talking bout the Peranakan. Baba for man and Nyonya for woman :)))) My mum is a Nyonya :)))

    Haha.. True true. Basically, most Chinese living in Malaysia and Singapore has already adopted the Malay lifestyles. This is what they call, cultural fusion?

    By the way, it's a MUST to try out Peranakan dishes! Most of the recipes originate from Chinese cuisine with a twist which is, being combined with Malay cuisine! :D

    peranakan men are called baba, women are called nyonya.. that's the Malacca's Museum right? Singapore Channel 8 is currently showing "Little Nyonya", which was filmed there.. Singapore Chinese went to Malacca and married Malays, they became to be known as Peranakans, having a mixture of both Chinese and Malays culture..

    oh that's actually peranakan culture. there's a lot of peranakans in singapore and malaysia. i'm a half peranakan too! from singapore~
