SYTYCD season 8

Alright my 2nd favorite reality tv show, So You Think You Can Dance, is back for it's 8th season.  (In case you're wondering it's only 2nd to The Amazing Race).  My favorite wannabe from season 6, Alex Wong, is on the show this season and he's awe inspiring.  I'm ready to go see ballet and I don't like ballet.   His performance today brought so much joy to my heart that I teared up.  Yeah, it shocked me, too, lol.  Zai, I wish it was available in your country because you'd love it.  Anywho, I know Jane and I are the only 2 that watch the show, and she doesn't catch every episode.  I just feel like sharing.

Today's episode was ruled by The A-Team, Alex and Adachike.  Both dancers were out of their element with hip-hop and both rose to occasion.  I was proud of Adachike because he showed emotion and humor.  He had swag.  Like I said Alex brought a tear to my eye.  These 2 were so great I've forgotten everyone else...almost.  There's another dancer I looked forward to seeing this year named Billy Bell.  So far he hasn't lived up to the Billy of last year.  Something is missing.  He's guarded whereas last year he was raw.  I don't know what happened.  I think he must've lost his virginity or been through a break up or something.  He's grown as a man but his dancing has suffered imho.  There's a great dancer on the show named Robert.  I liked Robert until episode 2 where he started annoying me.  He's goofy.  Too goofy.  I didn't feel his commitment.  Today the judges compared him to my favorite SYTYCD contestant, Mark Kamamura.  I was insulted.  If it had been the first episode I would have agreed because I did see a spark in him and he was the only dancer to take my attention off Mark when they were dancing.  I don't know.  Maybe he needs to dance aside men to get his competitive juices flowing.
