Yes, that's right. I interviewed SUNG KANG for Ningin. the Asian media website I write for. My angle? FOOD! And it is great stuff. Go on over there. I hope we crash the site today with all the visitors! The second part will go up in a couple of days.

On a personal note, I had a final interview for a corporate communications job on Monday. I would love to have this job, but won't know anything until later this week (or next week). Thanks again to everyone who has prayed for me and encouraged me. And my shout out to Butter and Jaine, my fellow job hunters.

I just ran over and read the interview. Great job! I love how you started it off and the food approach. Who knew that Sung Kang has such a weakness for ice cream >_~ Looking forward to part two :)

Like I said before, I hope you get some good news with regard to that position soon. You deserve it. Thanks for the shout out :) Things have been quiet with my search lately but I just need to try harder. I'm also working on some personal stuff now.

This write-up is so inviting that I want to fly over to try Saketini. Any chance of Sung Kang bringing the concept over to Singapore? Did you ask him about going international with his restaurant concept. I love Korean food, Japanese food and Western salads all rolled into one.

Looks like there is going to be an offer on the table. Will pray for door to open soon. I am waiting for another door to open and this I have waited for 10 years. Lately, I am beginning to see some light. God will lead the way.

As Roger Fan pointed out, I'm the first person from Cincinnati repping on AnD. Word! I'm a writer, connected to the Asian-American community through my Korean-born husband, our two hapa sons, and my lifelong interest in Asian cultures.

My work has appeared in periodicals, advertising, and children's curriculum, and I do a lot of writing for the web, but my dream is a career in film. I'm working on getting my first screenplay into production, and I have more ideas in the works as well. Creating good roles for Asian-American actors is something that's really important to me. I feel fortunate to give exposure to talented Asians in film by writing movie reviews for their films.

I blog for NINGIN, the Asian Media Exchange website. There you'll find the latest news and views on a variety of Asian and Asian-American artists. My interviews with Sung Kang, Roger Fan, and other fabulous people are posted at http://elena.ningin.com. When my work appears online, I might post a link to it on my AnD blog so you can check it out. But this is to add to your AnD experience, not direct traffic away from here. There's no place like AnD!
