no time for a fancy blog today, i'll just share this humorous video sent to me by my father, who predates television itself, but has decided not to be left behind by the digital video age...

in truly the way it was meant to be used.... he has figured out how to use youtube to send humorous videos to relatives:

the entertaining part of the video isn't just watching one guy beat up three guys who are trying to gang up on him, but its also fun to try and count how many times they replay the various parts of it... full speed... slow mo... slow mo with arrow... slow mo + zoom.... all Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' and a very excited announcer.....

(i counted 17 replays!)

ps - i am not surprised at all to here this - my dad actually answered my suspicions w/ his follow-up email: this guy is actually an Armenian boxer... i have heard competing versions of why they were trying to fight him, probably a traffic dispute of some sort...

Besides the fact that he's built like a Mack truck, you can tell Vallely's been in a ton of fights because the first thing he does is rip off his shirt, haha! Asskicking mode: on.

Can't believe they came back for more, it's like "STAY DOWN!!!" Reminds me of that video clip where pro skater Mike Vallely beats up these 4 frat dudes that called him a "skater fag." They had no idea what hit them.

Yeah he has the perfect stance, good on him for taking them on. And good for your dad, I'm quite glad my mother can't use the computer...last thing I need is verbal abuse via electronic email.

First of all kudos to your Dad! Hahah a guy after my own generation. OMG yeah, that guy in the white shirt. What a shmeggegie. It looked like he landed right on his hip real bad at least once. Ouch!!

xibanyae: well if he ONLY knew BJJ, yes he may be in trouble, but of course we know that jujitsu has a lot of throws and takedowns, not just lying on your back w/ your legs wrapped around another man!

oh man, this is a classic of one-to-many fights on the web. typically used by those MMA forum internet types that fight endlessly to defend striking over grappling, etc.... "if he would have known BJJ he would not survive" kind of comments... i think is pretty good though! hehe...
