Bape Heads Live Show 2008 - pt 7 - At the Party

The After party was held at M1NT in mid-levels, which fits about 350 people.  I think we could have filled a place twice as big if we really tried.  But the venue selection wasn't something we had a lot of control over, as we were just co-presenting and there wasn't a lot of time to plan something really big....

As it was, this club was absolutely packed by the time I went in.  Between the entourages, the promoters, us, other guests,  not enough space to walk!


But it was ok, cause you didn't have to walk far to see a familiar face.　でも知っている人も一杯居た。





This night was actually Hiro's birthday.  So I made sure to tell everyone.　実はその日ひろ君の誕生日だった。おめでとう！



For all those reporters out there reading this,  this photo is POSED!  Let's set the record straight and make sure everyone knows:  Phil is NOT a hard partying p.i.m.p. with beautiful girls hanging off him all the time. :-P

with Kevin, the 24 Boys and Khan from Thaitanium (He introduces himself with 'My name is Khan, as in Genghis...' -- Which is pretty damn cool,  the only way to be cooler would be to say 'My name is Khan, as in 'Wrath of...')

Its relatively rare to see Olivier and Eric and Boon out at a party together -

Of course the free booze helped encourage them to come out... but in this case unlike normal,  its not Eric who looks the most sauced. :-P　AnDスタフ。ボーン君が酔っ払いと思いますか？

Actually the whole night there's only one person I wanted to really meet:

ヤッタ!!!  I got to meet Verbal!   Once the initial crush of people kind of passed, I went up to him and introduced myself.  He was really cool!  we spoke for a few minutes.    I'm sure the whole time was probably thinking "who let this weird 日本語しゃべるオタクguy in?"  but he was nice to me anyway. :-P
僕は一番会いたいの人本当会った！ヤッタ！m-floのヴァーバル! すごい嬉しい！


Actually all the Teriyaki Boyz were cool,  as I mentioned in the previous blog, they hardcore, staying til the very end:　テリヤキボイズ皆親切だった。晩くまでパーティーした！

Ryo-Z was obviously still feeling energetic from the show,  later on in the night he started busting out a few dance moves.   Meanwhile Pat and I talked to WISE too.  Another nice guy!

Most people started going home around 3 or so. A few of us, including Brandon and I, on the other hand, stayed til the very bitter end! 　僕達4時半まで遊んだ！ハードコーアよ！

That's right, I'm all about the Hip-Hop!
