Drake and Tracy in HK!

Late Saturday night my friend Drake and his wife Tracy came to HK from the US.  I first met Drake in 2001 in Beijing and we both attended the 9th All China Games Wushu Competition that summer in Guangzhou.  I've stayed at their Seattle house twice since I moved to Asia on my way through Seattle. 

So it was time for me to return the favor!   I tried to shove as much Hong Kong into one day as possible (much like i did when my friend 久ちゃん was visiting a few weeks back..).  First stop Avenue of the Stars:

I also took them down to the Diesel 'Brave' Gallery.  It was the last day of the Wing Shya AnD exhibition.  I was happy to see a lot of people coming in and out, especially in the interactive room. :-D

Later on it was up to Mongkok for an introduction into what 'crowded' really means.

This bus actually goes to some place called MOMGKOK....


Like the trip to Hawaii last week,  I saw turtles here too... but not exactly the same...

That night we went up to Taipo to watch the 'Miss Asia 2007' broadcast in the ATV studios,  and then on Monday after work we met and rushed over to make it to TST in time for the 'Symphony of Lights'...


too bad this Canon can't take a good night time photo...  I miss my Casio Exilim! :-P


oh one more bonus shot:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that is none other than AnD Artist Miss Percy Fan...    While we were walking to Avenue of the Stars we saw a big group of people following a pretty girl,  I realized who it was and snapped a quick picture when she stopped to sign an autograph. 

Ironically later that day while passing by the metropolis mall near the HK Colosseum, I also spotted AnD artist Davy Chan,  who i later realized was playing in Eason's concert later that evening...  pretty random!
