Happy New Year!

ok, i' ve wasted too much time and blog space talking about that increasingly disturbing Edison Chen scandal...  let's forget about it and talk about something more important... the Lunar New Year... エディソンのイヤラシ写真の話お外もと大雪の事が有る：春節！今日仕事後パーティした、たくさんWiiをした。楽しかった！明日、明後日休みのに、僕はまだ仕事する。。。残念！でも金曜日晩は花火を見て予定が有る！すごい！待てませんよ！

Today we had a bit of a potluck at Pat and Stephen's after work finished... played way too much Wii...  tomorrow i'll actually be going in to the office and friday is again packed with meetings. :-(

But if everything goes as planned we'll be able to catch the fireworks over the harbor on Friday night.  i missed last years so i'm looking forward to this years... (hopefully i can get some good pictures!)

Oh, i took one new years related photo earlier this week...  one of the local print shops I was at had an old lady setting up some impromptu new years 'decorations' of a sort...  i was so shocked i pulled out my phone camera and took a photo...

i'm sure there's some entirely logical (but entirely superstitious) reason for this... but it still seems so bizarre for me... HK people are WAAAY too superstitious! :-P
