I was clicking around the site and I saw a really great blog by Ballet4ky about a next Gen gaming console from Mainland China:

Yes, it looks a little bit like the Nintendo Wii doesn't it? Oh snap, they've made a knock-off! Worse yet, its name is the Vii!

Take a look at the video's on Ballet4Ky's blog, especially the 2nd one where they take this thing apart!

I guess the Vii's mascot is Vario and Vuigi?
The Wii is a small thing....they even tried to copy a Rolls Royce Phantom and even a BMW X5!

Next thing we know they'll probably be copying a Xbox 360 or even a PS3 ;))

Sometimes it's so absurd that I'm no longer surprised.... then again, some of the copycats are getting really sophisticated.

I was reading a journal from the 1920s Shanghai, seemed like the Chinese were big on copycat'ing back then too.

At first I was impressed that they could come up with a wii clone, but after I saw them open it up...utter disappointment.
