Inspired from Carp streamers(鯉幟/see the pic below)color,I made this red n blue dots vase.Also this year marine color in trend right?

今年はマリンがきてるってことで、鯉のぼりの赤・青にリンクさせてみました！最近クラフトではやっている羊毛をほぐして丸めてボールをたくさん作って、ふわふわのキャンディー花器を製作しましたヨ

On Children's Day, traditionally a holiday where people pray for the growth of boys, armor is displayed at home.
On this day, families often fly carp streamers outside their homes to represent strength and success

最近、鯉のぼり見かけないなあ～。田舎道には泳いでいる～。

"Iris=菖蒲"(blue purple one) is the flower to decorate for Children's day.
As the fragrance of irises was believed to drive away bad air, people began to take baths with these medicinal leaves

菖蒲とアイリスは違うけど、英語にしたら同じになる。菖蒲湯も入らないなあ最近。。。男の子が居る家ではやるのかな。

Used some spring flowers as well.Then decorate with dolls

I haven't arranged flowers since Feb,haven't even used scissors for 2 months...longest blank in 10 years or more.Well actually haven't been working or walking for almost 2 months!
I've done with knee ligament reconstruction surgery on March 4th.Fixed some cartilage too.It was tough experience for me.
And still under rehab now.Actually I've started to practise walking by myself on this monday...struggling with simple,slow,pain...terms like that...Long way to go~

２ヶ月振りにはさみを使ったら腕が筋肉痛になった・・・自分でひいた（汗）ここ１０数年でこんなに長い間、花に触らなかったのは初めてです。花を生ける楽しさとか、感じました。

あ、３月４日に無事に膝の前十字靭帯再建と軟骨損傷の修復手術が終わりました。感想としては。。。どえりゃー大変！って感じです。痛いです、なにもかも。。。今、連日リハビリです。今週の月曜からようやく松葉なしで歩く練習が始まりました！つまり、まだちゃんと歩けてません（汗）これからまだ１年くらいはかかるリハビリの日々。アスリート気分を盛り上げて、楽しくやっていきたいと思いますテンション上げていかないとね！

Hello Hikaru, been yrs since I dropped in! lots of water has gone under the bridge and most times I forgot completely about alivenotdead! I hope you're better from yr knee surgery. Yr flowers are just as pretty and I particularly love that doggie in the picture (your doggie?). I have 2 dogs - do feel free to visit at www.tooki-mimopakl.blogspot.com. I am with pets blogroll and who knows you may want to start a pet blog there...:)

Hikaru was born in Nagoya,Japan.
She spend her college life in Waseda university majored in psycology.
During her student life, she started studying flower design.
After graduated from university,she started teaching flower design at "Airly Flower Salon"in Tokyo. and also at the same time started studying porcelain painting.
After about 10years of her career, she has certified as "national trade skill certification of flower decoration 1st grade of japan".
Now she is working as freelance.
Flower design: She designs all around using flowers(fresh,artificial,dried,preserved...) Porcelain painting: She designs and draws on blank porcelain such as tableware.
She also teaches many people who want to learn flower design and porcelain painting.In her flower or painting class many people enjoy spending time not only learning the technique of works but also having good relaxation which is the most meaningful moments for learning art.
She also shows her flower and porcelain art works at exhibition.Since 2003 everyear she's been showing flower design works at "Japan flower design award".

Hikaru在日本明古屋出生。她在早稻田大学学过心理学, 在学生时代她已开始学习插花艺术。
大学毕业后，她开始在「AIRLY FLOWER SALON TOKYO《教授插花艺术，同时开始学习陶瓷彩绘艺术。
经过十多年职业生涯，她获取日本的"国家一级插花设计技能士"。
她现职为自由艺术家。
插花艺术: 她使用各式各样的材料(鲜花，人造花，干花)创作艺术品。
陶瓷彩绘艺术: 她构图并在白色陶器原件上绘画。
除了创作作品，她亦教授插花和陶器彩。在她的教室内，大家上单只学习插花和画技巧的技术, 同时还让身心得以彻底的松弛。
由2003年获得「日本插花设计大奖《起, 每年在展览会中都会展示她精美的插花及瓷器彩绘艺术作品。

現在中国語を勉強中です。まだまだ至らないところばかりですが、AnDでは多くの方々のお力を借りて、少しずつ語学力もアップしてまいりました。
