DJ technology has come a long way since I first started 10 years. I began with vinyl decks the "technics 1200s". Those were the days of record pools and endless weekends "digging" for vinyl.. then came the pioneers cdj1000s, that for the first time allowed DJs to scratch with actual CDS..A few years later, Serato computer technology revoluntioned DJ industry. No longer did we have to break our backs and carry heavy crates of vinyl from gig to gig. About 3 years ago pioneer dvdjs (video) made a debut to the industry, allowing DVJ artists to scratch, mix, and remix music videos live..and Finally here we are today.. with video serato, where DJs can mix music videos from their laptop and vinyl turntables. Fascinating!
