Hi JOe!!!

Every monirng to work....I grabbed a XL coffee and 75% chance of getting a 12 grain bagel depending whether I felt blotted that day or not or felt like less Carb.....hhah...men is conciosu these days too.......so cheesy eh...I know.

So it had become a routine that RATHEr  than going thru drive thru....I parked the car and just go into the coffee shop and had my order.....I used to be a ' Drive-thru' practisioner...oneday...i suddenly realised...why wouldnt people get down the car.....why stay in the car for such a small order...I counted....it's like 3 times faster....from finsih til end.  3 min Vs 7-8min. for a coffee & Bagel. Life's too short to be waiting here waiting there............maybe just me.

Anywayz...when U go into so often...U became a regulars....people knows what U ordered,almost like a 3rd,4th line of fmaily.....they do know your needs by heart. One day...one of the staff...she said she was my EX -fan....she can cited all my songs and had me signed one of my old CDs,one fo my embarassing moment in life i would say.....to come to toronto is to be like a little small time everyone....this cause some unexpected consequences....

Laughs....and there are around 10 stafffs in that particular joint, 3 chinese ladies, the rest Indians ladies....funny thing is...I dont know what did my Ex Fan tell them,,...one could imagine she must have siad....'Ohh...I know Joe for a long time...he's a star.....very famous in HK la....' with that familiar strong HK accent...U know what...I actually dont midn at all....people here repsect privacy...when people did this out of joy...I totally respect that eventho the subject is me.

That day on....

'Hi Joe!!!' the moment I stepped in the coffee shop, let me clarify the image in your head...they were all having tons of activities going on with each nice lady.....some pouring coffeee , some speed serving Drive-thru....some buttering bagels....BUT

when I stepped in....all things stopped...all heads turned my way in almost in sync patttern..with Charlie Angels tones in' indian accents' waving at me even there are people lining up...in their eyes....they seem non existent to their eyes or somehow they see thru them...haha what a moment every morning. Scary and Welcomed at the same time.

ps 1- I went to a store buy some little gifts last moment, a roll of wrapping paper, wrap them myself for each lady....they looked terrible haha but dunno somehow felt deep down....this is basic humanity should be encouarged and realised so everyone would still be hoepful...that no work is too little...I do thank them everyday for such hospitality. Minimum pay comes minimum service...that's a misconception! These Ladies showed me everyday....they treasured each encounter i must learn form them.

ps2- I was at my 1st paragraph when my cell rang, dont have a house phone anymore, a US friend, little Radio station Boss...in the verge of going out of business...talked to me for almost 30min saying....things seem going in circles....felt like giving up....and not living up Parents Hope....cant even give them a good meal or present. I had 2 kids....I would never think that if they were ever go that low.....so pls dont say that...'Your parents loves you.'. Cant do much.
