    What's your idea or definition of 'FAITH'??

    We often heard people telling us, Have faith....

    What's that exactly??? in your view?

    Why is it so important to have the 'F' word.......

    soemthing we dont quite grasp yet everyone is throwing that at you.........

    I'll give you the faith word that I learned from the bible... faith can move mountains, cure any sickness,save your soul make you whole.
    faith to me is believing with all your heart that something will happen no matter how impossible it may seem :)

    Religious faith is believing in the face of doubt.  Sometimes it is beyond us as individual human-beings.  St. Paul is a perfect example of this when he prays "help my unbelief".  At that point you are in the realm of trusting that there is something at work in your life or the world that goes beyond what you can know and believe in.  Read about Mother Teresa of Calcutta.  She doubted the very existence of God for decades, being unable to have any direct experience of God's presence.  Yet she continued to love and serve those around her in the possibility that there was a loving God at work in the world.  We call her a saint!

    faith, as in not religious, I'ld take it just as "being optimistic", u know the usual "something good will come by soon" kinda crap =p

    Faith is the confident belief in the truth of or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.[1] It is also used for a belief, characteristically without proof.[2] Informal usage of the word "faith" can be quite broad, and may be used standardly in place of "trust", "belief", or "hope". For example, the word "faith" can refer to a religion itself or to religion in general. As with "trust", faith involves a concept of future events or outcomes.
    This is my favorite definition I think it covers everything....
