    436pm......

    back at my radio station.....my 2nd job.....small time dj, talk show host.

    Finally at 3pm, we were dismissed....tell us to run...to leave right away...

    the other top management called my Boss....

    if we stay for another hour....I dont think any of those staff can get out of the premises....

    i was wearing a gentle smile when i heard that....'Finally!'

    i helped shuffuled as many as snow blocked cars to ease their exits....

    I brought an extra Big Shuffle.

    The road is crazy.....but my heart is indeed peaceful.

    Looking out my studio window.....watching fallen flakes....

    blowing towards and against where I stood...

    Quite a sight.

    Still warm n safe so far....

    talk to U when I get home.

    woooo wooo wooo...........the wind blows

    Every time I turn on the TV today, all the national news and weather channels talk about is the big storm.  Here in North Carolina, it hasn't been below freezing for a week, and today it was 70 degrees!  It all sounds very far away.  I wonder if we will have any snow this year?  Some winters we don't have any snow, not even flurries.

    I used to have an old heavy shovel with a metal bin or w/e the actual shovelling part is called.  Someone stole it.  I have a flimsy plastic shovel now.  I don't know why but I don't mind shovelling.  I shovel in front of my home and those of  3 senior citizens on my block.

    oh god...the weather was horrible today.
    what usually takes me 2 hours to finish took me the entire day.  i finally came home just now and i am close to hypothermia.

    brrrrrrr....

    Yeah, always good to carry a big snow shovel this time of year. Last year in February, we had to go out and my husband was concerned about us getting stuck so he brought the big shovel. He's very good at driving on snow so we didn't need it. We did, however, stop to help a newpaper delivery man (rural route delivers by car to newpaper mail boxes) who'd slid into a large drift. It was the middle of no where and no one else was on those farm roads. I think he was the reason God reminded us to take the shovel ;)
