  What started off as a Classic Rock function plus Eugene Pao's Birthday...
  We finished our gig around 1 am then headed over to a little Jazz club in central called fresco...
  I can tell you that , pretty much all of HK heaviest Jazz Cats where there...I was the lightest...weighing at 165 pounds...haha...I was hanging with the big boys...
  
  A very in ur face sound engineer guy yells out..."hey JUN....come here!!"...I was like....wooord? did he just yell at me??...haha...I replied "come here? now?" he says..."yes!" I shouted" hey,I just got here, can I at least say Hi to my friends?" in front of every one....and with my cheeky humour...eveeryone starts cracking up...and he replies" U gotta meet this guy!" I says..."wow...DEMANDING !!!"
  so as every nice filipino kid would do...I would respect elders and I went over to where he was....
  As I walked up the stairs, I saw this kid with Ray-Ban shades and all black...Mind u guys I was a bit tipst from the last gig , 1 Am, being called over by a guy I didnt even know that well.
  I had these words on the tip of my tongue as I was introduced to this kid...."Isn't it a bit too late for shades?' I didnt say it coz my brain was sill processing all that was going on...then an angelic voice came out of this dude..."Hi I'm Jesreal !" Then before I slip and made an ass out of myself...It clicked to me...that this was the kid that was causing all the buzz in HK.....
  Jesreal is blind since birth, Eugene and lots of other cats told me about him.....Blind as a bat but plays the piano like I have never seen in my life....I knew that at that moment I was meeting an extraordinary human being....He is from Cebu,The Phillipines.23 years old....also,plays bass and drums and even sings...talk about talent ....God gave him a lot but also took something away...That was what I felt....Fair or not? I think god is fair.....this gur has perfect PITCH. What is perfect pitch U might ask....ok....It took me awhile to figure this put...the BEEP BEEEP BEEEP ( please mind the Gap between the dor and the cabin)that we hear on the MTR as the train takes off and arrives....Correct me if I am wrong...Thats a "B" note....ok...sorry if I am wrong..but am not perfect pitch dood!!!...This dude can tell u what note anything is whenever he hears it....There was an interview that he did...His glass was kinda full and the interviewer's was below half full....He used a pencil and hits the side of the glass and tells the dude..ok....your cup is a "c" and mine is a C sharp"/.....thats perfect pitch/....one can train it. But I have been a musician for a while and I have never seen anything like that....he just went to the piano and started soloing in the right key that we were in.....ok if that isnt crazy enough....I was sitting on a tune that we were just making up as we went along....I purposely tried to do certain James Brown-ish Hits and the band all followed....and I swear to God...It was like he could see me actually hit the cymbals and hit with me....
  Also, that evening's get together was coz it was My great friend and mentor Eugene Pao's birthday...
  
  the evening was filled with music, booze, lots of laughing...more booze...Eugene, Ted Lo (piano) and Anthony Fernandes(drums)
  ...it was a scatting battle between them
  
  
  ....meaning they were singing like an instrument solo would....Dude....we were all on the floor....just laughing so much coz they were so funny...non singers doing scatting....Anthony won!! haha
