I'm back! Sorry the extended disappearance. Been busy, busy, busy... busy settling down in my new home, rushing for shoots and filming, meeting and catching up with friends, arranging for the arrival of Esky (Who is Esky, you might ask? Secret! haha You will know soon enough. *winks*) and running all sorts of unfinished errands! Phew!

But that said, I'm enjoying my new home!! It's at a much better location, more comfortable and most importantly, I'm free from the evil landlords of Bedok North!!! Wahahaaha

Been doing a lot of furniture buying and groceries shopping too. I LOVE groceries shopping! haha It's surprisingly fun and therapeutic! However, I realize I don't enjoy going to Ikea as much now... It's just too crowded and messy! Unless you go there during the weekdays, then it might be slightly better. heh :P

I recently visited the new Buddha Tooth Relic Temple at Chinatown, not only to see see look look, but also to pray for happiness and good health. The temple is really HUGE and beautifully renovated. You can make donations in all sorts of ways... from buying a piece of the holy ceiling to putting your name at one of the small buddha statues. As for me, I lighted an oil lamp hoping that my path from now on will be bright and clear. :) However, one can't help but feel that the temple is a wee bit commercial. Have you guys read the newspapers recently? Apparently someone pointed out that the supposedly tooth of the Buddha, looks more like the tooth of an animal instead. Some experts even mentioned that it might be the tooth of a water buffalo! HAHAHHA Oh well, I guess, we will never know. Just keep the faith strong in your heart yea? heh :)

I'm quite happy to leave my job, really. I can't wait to spend more time with my family and my love ones, especially my mum. That said, I was still kinda sad when I was doing my last flight back from Shanghai. The set of crew were very nice and they even surprised me with a present, after knowing that it was my last flight. I was truly touched. hahah It was a nice ending after all. :)

I have lots more things to update you guys. Will be back soon!!! I promise! :)

Storming into the limelight as the delightful Kim Loong in @Moulmein High, this fresh-faced, boyish actor has been cooking up a stir for his acting skills. Effectively bilingual in both English & Mandarin, he had starred in numerous English and Mandarin productions like Channel 5’s Living With Lydia 2, True Files, Life Story, a 100-episodes Channel 8 Chinese drama (同心圆), a Mandarin children sitcom (大儿子，小老爸), as well as two new Channel 8 drama serials call 天堂鸟 and 新加坡屋顶下. No stranger to acting, Lawrence has been in the scene since his stage debut at 15.

Lawrence’s acting extends beyond television as well. He acted in various plays namely, This is Not an Apple by Action Theatre (December 2001), Off the Page by The Necessary Stage (March 2002), Code 302 by The Fun Stage (May 2002), Epitaph of The Whales by Toy Factory Ensemble (November 2002) and Existence by The Fun Stage (July & August 2003) etc. His involvement in This is Not an Apple led him to a nomination in 2002 DBS Life! Theatre Awards.

Touted as Female Magazine 50 Most Gorgeous People in 2004, Lawrence’s young and good looks has also attracted a lot of advertisers. He has appeared in numerous commercials, both print and television. Some notable advertisements include L’oreal, Milo, Starhub, MTV Asia, Marybrown and KFC. Lawrence is well known in the modeling industry for his versatility in his looks: he can be styled to look like different age groups, different professions and different characters very easily. He was also involved in hosting various brand launches such as Clarins Men Skincare, Virgin Mobile and more.

With a strong mind to better his performing career, Lawrence underwent singing and dancing lessons. Since then, Lawrence has taken part in various dance competitions and won top prizes for his lucid and delightful movements. Lawrence also spends most of his free time composing songs and writing lyrics.
