The battle itself ended at around 1am but it was not the end for 1 or 2 hundred people (out of 10000). I knew that I would probably be too late for the last metro so I did buy a ticket for the after party.

I was actually expecting more people to make it there especially among the dancers and it was far different from what I was expecting. Kinda felt like a home/sport club party (except that it was held in a basement of the concert hall) with only beer, Coke and orange juice as drinks,...
Except for the DJs. Main DJ that night being DJ Hiro (mostly house, member of house dance crew, Alma and also Juste Debout 2007 house dance champion)

Now, the question you may want to ask me is 'Did you dance?'
    The answer is...

    YES!!!
But it took me about 1 hour to start dancing. First because they started with hip hop and I have no confidence at all on my hip hop freestyle (so just did a few moves). then when house played it took me some time to dare, seeing all those pretty good dancers around me but I ended up dancing for about 1 or 2 hour.

At least, now I can say that I danced next to people like Yoshie (probably one of Japan's most famous and best female dancer), Mamson, Babson, Which Way Sha, Salah,...and some of this years winners (though I didn't see all of them)

Circles started everywhere and there was up to 6 or 7 different circles in the basement but I must admit that I didn't dare entering any of those.

Salah (see one of my previous entries) did the show for most of the night, battling with anyone, going into the circle as soon as nobody was showing up. He ended up challenging some Japanese girls I didn't recognize which was actually pretty funny, especially as they were making fun of him (that's a battle), before coming and praising him once they were done dancing.

Once, the after party was over, everyone was planning to go back home. But actually, Danse Fusion (some of the originators of house dance such as Caleaf, Shan S,...) were starting a circle in the streets of Paris (just, outside the concert hall).
Shan had brought his video camera and was there to film the circle (and do a short performance). That was actually pretty funny to watch and though I would have loved it I once again didn't dare to enter the circle given the level.

All in all, that trip was AWESOME and count on me to be there next year.

Shan.S came to watch me danced last night. We went to eat afterwards and he showed me the video he took of the circle! They had the black speaker we bought for him as his BD present! You probably were in the video but I couldn't recognise u!
