Paris / パリ

OK guys, I will first add a new challenge to my blog. I decided that I would try to make each entry bilingual. Of course, as the number of French speaking people is still kinda low there's no purpose for translating in French.
So you must have guessed it (or else you guys are blind and I'm wondering how you're able to read this ), I'm going to write those blogs in both English and Japanese. Now, my Japanese is far from perfect so if you can read Japanese be ready to see a lot of mistakes and I will certainly simplify a bit.

So let's start with the real entry.

I went to Paris this weekend. In fact, I had been asked by 2 Japanese friend, now studying in Brussels, if we could go to visit Paris.
We chose to go this weekend  as  they had a friend coming from Nagoya for 2 weeks and because I didn't had wushu nor dance this weekend due to the holidays here in Belgium.
As one other Belgian friends joined us on the trip we were then 5.

The first plan was to go to Paris by train as it takes about 1 hour and a half but when I was about to make the reservation online, I though that the price was just too high (it's the holidays remember ). So I finally drove every one to Paris. The good side about that was that I don't pay the fuel (in Belgium) as this is a company car so we just had to pay the parking. The bad side was that I hate to drive in Paris.

On the Saturday, the five of us, walked on the Champs Elysees, went up the Arc de Triomphe, went to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame.

While we were at the Place de la Concorde we came across a group of Japanese tourist. For some reason that I didn't understand immediately both group stopped. Then everyone, started walking and then stopped once again. Then, one of the girls of the other group came back to us and asked one of my friends were she was from.
Turns out, they were from the same High School in Nagoya though they had never really talked together.
It's a huge coincidence. Brussels isn't that big of a city and I seldom meet friends of mine in the streets and here we have 2 Japanese people who don't really know each other and they meet in Paris.

We then went to a youth hostel for the night as we were trying to keep the budget as low as possible.

On the Sunday, we visited the Louvres Museum, Notre Dame (we were too late to go in on Saturday) and Versailles' Castle. And then, I just drove everyone back.

週末にパリへ行きました。２人の留学する友達は行きたかったから。今週名古屋の友達もベルギーに行きましたから。今お休みだし、ダンスもないし、５人で行きました！

３週間前電車で行くと思いましたけど電車は高すぎる。
土曜日に僕の車で行きました。

後でJardin des Tuileriesに行ったり、シャンゼリゼで歩いたり、Arc de Triomphe （アルク・ド・トリヨーンフ）上ったり、エッフェル塔見たり、ノートルダム大聖堂を見たりしました。

ユースホステルに泊まりました

日曜からサマータイムです。（意味日曜午前２時は午前３時になった）
ルーブルに術間に行ったり、ノートルダム大聖堂に入ったり、ヴェルサイユ宮殿に行ったりしました。
後でブリュッセルに帰りました。

あの旅行楽しかったよ！
