As said in my previous entry, I went to Paris with my Chinese teacher, Xiucui, from last Thursday to Saturday.

Now on Thursday 29th, French were doing what they do best: strike
I first heard about it on Tuesday, so I kept checking the SNCF website to be sure our train was still scheduled. Fortunately the TGVs (high speed trains) from Brussels were not involved.
Metro's traffic was not perfect but we had no major issue.

So we did the usual places.
On the 1st day, we walked from Notre Dame to the Eiffel tower (walking all the Champs Elysées, of course)

In the Evening we went for a drink with 2 Australian girls staying at the same youth hostel as we were.

Then on Friday, we went to the Louvre with a Brazilian girl we had met then went to musée d'Orsay (Orsay Museum) which is focusing on modern art (Renoir, Degas,...). that was my first visit to Orsay so at least, even I saw new things during this trip.

Our last morning was spent visiting a few more places and doing some shopping.

I ended up buying this

I finally got a hand on those Nike Air Troupe low . Those are the first shoes made for hip hop dance and they are awesome. They are light and really stick to your feet even if they're not laced. Plus as it's a November model I paid them half the price. Only, negative side is that those shoes are branded as Women shoes (there were a few questions among hip hop dancers but Nike's people seems to agree that it's just a mixed shoe developped by Women department) which meant that I was the only guy trying shoes on the women floor of the shop :P.

Since I began dancing in 2007, I want to dance at every single moment. Be it house dance or hip Hop (New Style), I just can't stop dancing. Of course, I'm not forgetting about popping and locking though I'm not learning those at the moment. But I'm a huge fans of groups like Hilti & Bosch, Co-Thkoo, Umin,....
Be ready to see me at Juste Debout 2009 (in the audience, of course :-D)

Besides dance my other love is wushu. I've been practicing it in and out for years (but I'm still very bad at it as I can't seem to find time to train seriously although it's far better now).

I really enjoy to learn new languages. I currently speak French, English, Dutch (still learning) and Japanese (still learning) and the next on the list will be Mandarin.
