Music for Haiti

Music for Haiti poetry will be on Tuesday 11th of March at THE MELTING POT in SOHO (8pm to 11:45pm (but we might go later with enough encouragement). Our MC for the evening will be Lisa S.  So all you Lisa S. Fans should stampede down there. If Lisa isn't enough for you we also have the lovely Ginger Kwan, Mark Peter of Piano, Zane Massey on Sax, Karissa Muse on Guitar and the hottest Jazz Band in town. YoMamma. Other artists wishing to play can contact the Musical Director Mark Peter. If you are an up and comming performer this is the place where you want to be seen and heard, if only because the sound quality is superb and we will be making a live recording of the event. Photographers will be there in abundance and we will be making a video of the show for further fund raising. Please book in  advance (especially if you want a table) because there are a lot of people who want to come. What you see on websites is only the tip of the iceberg. lots of people are allready booked in. Admission is $150 per head. Downstairs tables seat 4 people each but they are really at a premmium.

To make your reservation please call the Ben Mackie 90402670 during office hours or call the Melting Pot 2559 2777 between 6pm and 11pm Monday to Saturday.  If you arrive more than 15 minutes later than your booking time then you may forfeit your table unless it has been paid for in advance. Those of you wishing to meet Lisa should be aware that she has to go to another show at 10pm so if you want to meet her you will need to be there on time i.e by 8pm. She will have time for chatting between announcements and she is very friendly warm and funny in person.
