Thundercats Trailer - Fanmade

This is freaking awesome, WormyTV took This took me about a year and a half on and off to make this little Thundercats trailer and for a solo project, it looked amazing. Truly a work of a true fan and a dedicated one at that, to have the patience to work through the footages bit by bit and to take the effort and put all this things together.

Posted onto youtube December 21, 2008, it has so far garnered 836,959 views and counting. The Thundercats live action trailer used Hollywood actors Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel and Hugh Jackman among others from the various movies, stitched together with all the effects were done frame by frame in Photoshop and the footage was edited in Adobe Premiere. XY3D.com produced the 3D animated thundercats emblem.

The real Thundercats movie created in CGi is currently being developed by director Jerry O’Flaherty, who previously served as Art Director on the popular video game “Gears of War.” The film is being developed at Warner Bros. with It’s Alive scribe Paul Sopocy on to pen the screenplay. They are shooting for a 2010 release date, but nothing is certain at this point. It will be an original story expanding on the events of the first episode.
