V-Force Custom: Vinnie and Cody

Are you a big fan of American Chopper? Ever wondered what happened to Vinnie and Cody as suddenly you don’t see them around anymore in the new season? Well, Vinnie Dimartino and Cody Connelly had left the guys at OCC and formed their own custom chopper outfit with the name V-Force Customs.

Am not sure what went on behind the camera and not sure why both of them left to form their own company instead of continuing in OCC, am not going to speculate also on it. Cody practically grew up as a customizer in OCC and American Chopper and build a strong friendship with Vinnie as seen by their off-work activities.

I do wonder though whether they’ll eventually break out in their own series similar to American Chopper. Both of them had the on-screen experience to have their own show, Vinnie had the experience and is quite good in his own design as can be seen in some of the older American Chopper series where he was tasked to build a chopper of his own design.

OCC is growing in leaps and bound in part thanks to the popularity of the American Chopper series, I do wonder if the same could happen with V-Force Customs, especially if they get their own shows. Looking at the website though, it felt like both Vinnie and Cody fell out with OCC through some internal issues, we’ll just have to wait and see how things will work out. I do wonder whether the friendship that Vinnie and Paul Jr. had also suffered with the fall-out or not. What do you think?
