Hey guys!
I know it's a little late but HAPPY SPRING FESTIVAL to you all!

Sorry it's been so long since I last updated. It's always a little hectic before and after the Chinese New Year hols.

I went to my grandma's place in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for a couple of days. My parents, sisters, uncle and cousin came down too! It was awesome!

After that, I left on a diving holiday to Pulau Lankayan. 4 days of just diving, tanning, swimming, eating and sleeping. TOTAL HEAVEN!

I don't have an underwater case for my camera but I'll get one before my next diving trip so I can show you! For now, you'll just have to settle for beach shots.

I went home to Kuala Lumpur (KL) for a couple of days after that and ate everything in sight. THIS is one of my absolute favourites...banana leaf rice...*yummmm*

Sooooo gooood.

This might just be love.

Oh...and I cut my hair again...what do you think?

UPDATE: I almost forgot! Some of you have been asking why you haven't seen me on telly recently. Aside from the holidays, I've also stopped hosting Culture Express due to scheduling problems (we travel for weeks to shoot episodes for Travelogue and Culture Express is a daily in-studio show). Hosting Culture Express would mean giving up Travelogue entirely and I love hosting the show and traveling too much to give it up just yet! Yin is now hosting Culture Express, but that means that she's no longer with Travelogue!

Also, we're currently working on new episodes for Travelogue so you'll be seeing more great travel destinations over the year! I'm excited!!

If you miss me during this time, don't worry, I'm still on Center Stage every weekend.

Wow, so cool your facial expression was, why don't you try to show your this amazing hairstyle in your show, I definitely believe that you will attract more eyeballs. Besides, black color dress make you looked more noble and untouchable beauity. Looking forward to see more sides of a real Michele.

Hi, Michele!

So nice to have the chance to visit here to know more about you, and your angle smile is just like the upcoming spring's sunshine which moves me and drive the annoyance which was working days brought away.

I have been watching CCTV's programs since last year, as I don't satisfy the fact I'm forgeting English words without a language ambience. In the beginning, I just watch the up-close and dialogue as I prefer conversation to solo show, the fact had not been changed till an angel face appeared into my eyeshot. Just hope you will appear more frequently in the future, although maybe you would be more tired then, I think more and more people could enjoy the fun and brand-new feeling from you.

Michele Lean is a television host for CCTV International, the English channel on the CCTV network. She divides her time between three programs, Travelogue, Center Stage and Culture Express.

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and raised in Hong Kong and Melbourne, Australia, she started her career as a commercial talent, model and actor in Melbourne, while juggling her studies in Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne.

She has interned for CNN (Hong Kong), The Herald Sun (Australia), TBWA-ISC (Malaysia) and The Sun newspaper (Malaysia), amongst others. While she initially dreamt of being a writer and news anchor, it was her passion for performing that won out and lead her to the TV screens. Michele's nomadic nature drew her to China, a place she expected nothing from and in return gained so much from, both personally and professionally.

Michele is not an in-borne performer and at most times prefers to observe than command attention but it is her love for the art of performance that drives her out of her shell and into the spotlight. Like most actors, she is an extrovert and introvert and while she likes her privacy, she finds her place is on a film set and TV studio.

In October 2008, she will take time off to further her acting skills at the New York Film Academy and looks forward to gracing the silver and TV screens in the near future.
