One of the highlights for March was my annual ski trip to Niseko followed by a shopping trip to Tokyo! A week was not enough to enjoy the fresh pow and yummy Japanese food!
I was fortunate to arrive back in Hong Kong a day before the tsunami and earthquake struck. In fact, while we were in Tokyo there were already minor quakes leading up to the massive one on Friday. Japan is one of my favorite countries in the world and I urge you to continue praying for the people! Please consider sending donations if you haven't done so already. My prayers go out to all the families who have been affected by the disasters. ♥
Skiing on a sunny day is a rare opportunity in Niseko as there's constantly fresh powder falling. While we were there, the snow depth at the top was approximately 400cm and 200cm at the bottom!! Visibility was low at many times and the wind was strong but we still managed to rip it down nearly every run across all 3 mountain ranges...groomed and ungroomed!
Right above is my favorite ramen shop in Harajuku, they've changed owners since the last time I was there two years ago but it's still excellent! If anyone's got a pork bone soup ramen recommendation please let me know!
