    Singapore's Motion Picture Association launched a new anti-piracy trailer to mark World Intellectual Property Day - which falls on April 26.

    The trailer titled 'What Are You Really Burning?' shows  881 Poster burns up as I lent my voice to remind the audience that piracy affects the future of our local film industry. The trailer is scheduled to be screened in theaters across the island.

    The international organisation also made local versions for other countries in the region - China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. All the trailer  be seen here. MPA-INTL

    Piracy is a real threat to the movie industry, Our passion and handwork is being burn away if you continue to download and burn. I hope the trailer will serve as a constant reminder to all movie-goers and movie lovers.

    It is important that the industry as a whole come together to raises IP awareness.

    Say No! to Piracy!

    I am constantly telling people, and especially my students, that piracy destroys the things they claim to love, and to stop it.

    At least Singapore can't blame its parent country for tolerating AND producing the pirated disks, unlike HK.

    Piracy will end only when black cats are no longer allowed.

    cool,  before the start of Iron Man last night in HK they had a video about a guy getting caught using a tripod and a camera in the theater.  its a pretty serious problem here, especially for hollywood movies.
