  • Holiday in Singapore

    I spent last weekend in Singapore. It was the first time for me to visit there. Thanks AnD! I have friends there thru the site.

    The flight was about 7 hours. I don't know why but I was sick on the plane. I couldn't walk when I arrived in Singapore. JAL staffs made me sit on a wheel chair. I went through immigration sitting on it. After a while, I felt better, I took a taxi and went to Mandarin Oriental hotel. I took some rest there. There is a big wheel called Singapore flyer  near the hotel. Here is the pic of night in Singapore from Singapore flyer! Very beautiful.

    Then I went to see merlion. My sis warned me that merlion was smaller than she expected. This is the pic of small merlion.

    And this is mini merlion. ( Chibi-merlion)

    And this is the biggest one in Sentosa! Apparently she didn't know the one in Sentosa. It was pretty big.

    I heard there are over 20 merlions in Singapore. 本当に? Next day I went to Sentosa. To be continued....

    Glad you got to enjoy Singapore even though you were not well on the flight.  I was there and Malaysia last week, had a great time.  Kuala Lumpur is nice bus ride from Singapore.  It was a great place to relax before I started my new job this week.

    Thanks for the pictures, I didn't get to visit those places.  Did you goto Clarke/Boat Quay?

    Singapore is so shiny and clean. Hope you got to see lots of it. Too bad about your sickness during the flight. You didn't have an issue on your return flight, did you?
