  • Special E-cotton balls

    It wasn't a busy day today. So I learnt how to make cotton balls at my hospital. We use them to clean wounds.

    Of course we can buy cotton balls. But they are small. There is an experienced nurse at my hospital. She is called Ms E! She makes special E-cotton balls from big cotton sheet.

    See the pic. The small one is normal one, you can buy it. The big one is special E-cotton balls. You can't buy it.　:P

    We use big one when we do operations. It's much easier to clean large area, like whole one leg.

    E-cotton balls are MUCH better than gauze pad. We don't use it to soak blood. Soak it to a kind of alchol and wipe wound to clean it.

    Its not soft , not too hard. Thats why its difficult to make

    wow thats huge!  can't you use a gauze pad or something instead of a giant ball?  it must be messy when it is covered in blood and ooze! :-P

    Haha. That's big all right. Soak up lots and lots of blood and other bodily fluids. Is it soft like the small cotton ball...or is that not important?
