  • Asian Cy Young Winner

    Didn't even know...Tim Lincecum 2008 NL Cy Young Winner is "half-Asian"... After yesterday's home opener, he didn't fare well during the game (we won, though). So, after the game interview:

    Lincecum was rattled enough that he mixed up his food axioms after the game.

    Lincecum proved to be unintentionally amusing as he expressed his intent to maintain perspective.

    "I'll try to take it with a grain of rice and move on," he said.

    Rice?

    "Rice, salt, whatever. I'm half-Asian," Lincecum said.

    Turns out that his mom is Filipina. Cool, eh!

    That's so cool! I had no idea that he was half Asian either.  That MLB2K8 commercial with him and his avatar is just great :)  Alot of aces seem to be struggling early this season.
