  Didn't your parents take pictures of you as a child?  I don't really have very many pictures of myself as a child, and even fewer as an adult.  Until I needed profile pics for FB and AnD, I hadn't had a decent picture of me taken in over a decade!  I never thought I was very photogenic.  Now that I'm being photographed more, I realize that maybe it isn't quite as bad as I thought--1 in 100 pics looks okay. ;-)  (With digital, the rest just end up in the trash.)
  BTW, that picture of me in the c.1960 get up was sent to me by an old boyfriend just last week.  He was cleaning out some boxes and ran across the pic and sent it to me, thinking I might enjoy seeing it.  Funny, we hadn't been in touch for 28 years and we have each gone on to lead very different lives, yet he still thought to send it to me (along with some pics of his children and wife).  I guess he's thanking me now for having broken up with him in college.  At the time, he wasn't very happy about it.  But shortly afterward he met his wife and they have 4 children now, so I think it was all for the best.  I would have killed him (or myself) if we had stayed together.

  I don't follow Idol, Dancing or any of those shows.  But everyone at work does, so I get a recap weekly.  I think all of my work mates are cheering for Adam, too.
  
  Flamenco will still be there when Idol is over.  Take a look at my FB links and look for the ones for Carlos Saura and Iberia, especially the one with Sara Baras.  I posted some flamenco dance that I think you might like.  As a filmmaker, Carlos Saura has been fascinated with flamenco since the late 70s and is great at capturing the essence of flamenco, but with an outsider's eye (he is from Aragón, where there is no flamenco tradition).
