  • Happy Father's Day, Any Questions?

    First off, a very happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there, especially mine!  Thanks for all your support and love, "lo dao"!!!

    Anyways, I'm in Kampa once again. Shooting starts tomorrow but no action, so it should be just more location scouting and a bit of rehearsal when I wake.

    Since I caught wind of the fact that I'll be the featured artiste here on alivenotdead.com on the 17th (today), I've decide that on this blog entry I'd like to ask you readers out there to throw some questions my way.  I'm open to anything.  Though I'm still relatively new to this industry, I have learned quite a bit about what it means to act and what action on film needs to be.  I knew I had a lot of questions about this job when I was still only part of the audience. So please feel free to ask away in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer them in my next entry.

    So ready, roll camera, and action!  Ask Away!

    Which do you enjoy most,  being in front of the camera or behind the scenes?

    If you could have chosen any role in any movie past or present what would it have been?

    What's it like or how do you feel when working with people you need to choreograph who have no sense of body control or "rhythm" or just plain lack coordination? I guess there are special camera and angle tricks for that sort of stuff.

    Do you like acting in action films more than acting without any kind of action like in the film "獨家試愛"? Wat do you like about acting in non-action films?

    hi again...so, how did it feel the first time when ur work was presented to the audience at wide?
    and what changed after u became a celebrity? how did ur family reacted? how did ur friends responded? how did u reacted?

    what inspired you to get into the industry? What inspires you everyday to continue doing what you do? where/what do you see yourself doing 10 years later?

    What was the worst injury you've ever had to endure and how long did it take for you to get over it?  The reason I ask is because I blogged about my most traumatic experience a few weeks ago but it wasn't related to martial arts...a head injury from a car accident as a pedestrian.  Ever since then, I'm pretty wary of any dangerous activities.

    hi! ooo, questions..so who helped you the most in your career? mentors or anything?
    and and whose your favourite martial artist. and hmm, what kinds of martial arts do you focus on? changquan (long..punch..?), swords, knives, or..?
    anyway! so how did you like UIUC? was it nice there? did it get boring? cuz im a really asian person, are there a lot of asians there? (in particular cantonese?)
