L.A. on Foot

This morning, I went to Kaiser to meet my new doctor for the first time, got 6 tubes of blood drawn for a physical, and dropped off my car for a check up in Koreatown. My mechanic said it would take a day or so. I debated if I should rent a car as Enterprise was only 2 blocks away. I decided against my typical L.A. princess instinct and took the bus.

I got on the bus almost immediately on Western Ave. It was a Metro express to Hollywood. I got off around Western and Hollywood and walked back home. As I walked along Hollywood blvd. by Thai town, I saw the most fascinating shop at 5519 Hollywood Blvd.:



My jaw dropped as I looked into the store window and it was like a childhood's dream coming true. BJ Winslow opened up a horror prop store just blocks away from my neighborhood. It was so cool. I walked in and checked out all the cool props such as mutilated corpses, body parts in jars, coffins, skulls... etc. Well, such was my morning adventure on foot.
