  • Safari in Alhambra

    No, I didn't actually go safari hunting. I was shopping at one of the coolest pop art galleries called Nucleus in Alhambra and ended up finding a wonderful piece to put above my fireplace. It's a plush rhinoceros head titled "Florence" made by an artist called T&A. T&A designs one-of-a-kind plush art pieces and I am immediately a big fan. I might go back and buy a smaller piece later, a unicorn head. I love the idea that she combines such a cruel idea of collecting a dead animal head and having a plush animal that's cute and cuddly. Pretty brilliant I'd say. Check out her other pieces on TAfriendly.com. She also has a series of plush food such as sushi pillows and a plush steak (!!!) that are equally funky and adorable.
