    Shepard Fairey 於波士頓被捕

    波士頓 - 警方於週六透露，設計奧巴馬總統紅、白、藍三色“希望”海報而著名的街頭藝術家因被指控於公物上塗鴉被逮捕。

    週五晚上，Shepard Fairey 於前往 Institute of Contemporary Art 出席其名為 "Supply and Demand" 首次個人展覽會的開幕活動時被逮捕。

    James Kenneally警官稱，警方在確定他分別於兩個地點的公物上畫上一些源於其職業生涯中早期之Andre the Giant街頭藝術運動的塗鴉後，於1月24日發出兩個拘捕令，拘捕Fairey。其中一個地點是Charles River 的地標 Boston University Bridge 的鐵路棧橋。

    I got engaged on Valentine's Day many moons ago so, for us, it's kinda like an anniversary. Getting a sitter for the wee people and going out!

    I know graffitti style can be an artistic expression, but when it defaces other people's property, I think it's highly disrespectful and cheapens it to merely vandalism big-kid style like when a child crayons their house walls growing up... Momma wasn't happy and now either are we.  They should have learned that lesson the first time.

    I think if graffiti is done right it can be very effective on buildings but it should be kept away from right by landmark buildings.Still arresting him is going a bit far.

    Never knew that about Japan, it's nice to have  a day for girls gifting and boys gifting on the other, sweet.
