Today a very young artist friend of my - Cheung Lui (I called him Little Stone) sent me a new drawing from him. He drew it by dip pen. (well I used to use dip pen when I was young, but of course not as good as Chueng Lui).

Why I wanna post it is because I really want to share more talented artists which being under rated by here(here doesn't mean Alive not Dead, I mean Hong Kong). Little Stone is only 19 yrs old. Got a bright future huh?

This guys drawing is great and all at 19 years old. Wow, such brilliant detail, light, shadow and perspective. True draughtmanship at it's best. He should explore etchings too. A further area that he would excell superbly in.

I wonder if he could do something like that from scratch, if so he'd have quite a future in conceptual drawings for movies and such.

Very cool. Reminds me of an old friend of my parents who did line ink drawings. There is something stunning about the technique in the hands of a talented artist, such as Little Stone. Thanks.
