"Guero" The Fireman Dog

            

This evening, under the sound of the sirens of the Firemen´s trucks, citizens, children and the H. Dept of Firemen gave a lovely tribute to "Güero" the dog fireman, who gave his life by 5 years to the service of the community, receiving a lot of tributes and medals by his value, including the great recognition that a fireman can receive, the medal " Servant of the Nation"

 When Güero" was puppy was catched in a landslide by several days without being able to move, being a survivor he became in rescuer, not in one common, but one with four legs, charming and brave, a loyal friend as his partners said, he never left a victim in a fire or a disaster, nobody knows how many lifes he saved, and when he was not in service, he enjoyed teaching tactical of accidents and fire prevention in schools, at least  25,000 kids learned of Güero.

Guero died this Saturday by a heart attack, doing what he most loved to do…

Because the life of love and service that you gave to us, we are not sad, but happy by had you with us, because not all the angels has human shape….
