Emmanuel, Tony, and I brought our wives to LA for awards ceremony and it was a lot of fun.
I also managed to book a couple SAG jobs including Detention of the Dead as a stunt zombie and Superman: The Man of Steel doing ND stunts under the legendary Damon Caro.
After that, the rough edits of "Those Who Go to Hell" have been released. To be honest, the film will probably never get finished due to location and budget issues. My acting in it is terrible. So if you watch it, bare with it.... Episode 4 is the last one and it should be released soon.
Since then, Emmanuel, Brendon, and I have been given a huge opportunity, which would require Emmanuel and I to reside in LA. So both of us will be moving very soon to join Brendon in the westcoast. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the information at this time.
That's pretty much it. I will try to blog on here more often. In the meantime, enjoy the latest clips including "Those Who Go to Hell," the "Detention of the Dead" teaser, and my 2012 stunt reel.
Extra work is very boring, but the for the Sears commercial, I was there for like 18-19 hours. So there was a fat paycheck that came in the mail. =)
Emmanuel Manzanares was kind enough to update my reel for submission purposes. Many of the professionals said my reel was a bit long and had a lot of the same exchanges.
Hopefully this one helps me get more work. There will be a mid-year update after "Those Who Go To Hell" is completed.
Mr. Andy Long from Magnificent Fighters in Germany is doing a full U.S. tour from NYC, Chicago, Minnesota, San Francisco, San Diego, to Los Angeles.
It was just a coincidence that he came down for my 30th birthday. Check out my birthday vid below. A lot of the dialog and random swears are inside jokes among our circle of friends. So at least try to laugh. =)
And lastly, martial arts tricker Jim Ng from NYC came in for a week during Andy's stay. Jim is transitioning from tricker to screenfighter. ln our fight below, we only worked on very basic choreography for him to get some rhythm and flow. Jim did a good job!!
