Currently (semi)-watching a game between the ABs (All Blacks) and the Wallabies (Australia). For the first time in history, the game (Air New Zealand Cup) is being held outside of Australia and New Zealand and is instead being held in HK.
Who's there right now?
Anyways, the AB's have already won two (out of four) games, so whichever side wins this game, we still take home the Bledisloe cup because we hold the cup. In order for the other side to claim the cup, they must win three out of four games, otherwise, the country holding the cup win.
Rugby's so strange.
But the Sevens are even stranger. The Sevens is major for fans. Stadiums are always packed. And most people are only there for the atmosphere. Most people dress up, so you can always tell when the Sevens are on because the streets are packed with people in costume. This year I saw a whole bunch of guys in a teenage girls' clothing store. At the time, Supré had lots of highlighter coloured clothes, so the guys were on the prowl for some highlighter coloured outfits.
I do have a very slight desire to be a part of it, but haven't done so yet. Not sure I'll ever get a chance to now. I have some friends who do it every year. My best friend went for the first time this year with a bunch of her friends and says she's gonna do it every year from now on too. I guess once you've tried it, you'll never go back.
Sports.
