I skimmed through 8 pages of feeds before giving up. I'm actually rather tired, so I don't know why I'm on here.
I got to see some of the Glass House Mountains. We went to the main one but it was closed off, so we went searching for other lookouts. We thought they were all gonna be crap ones, til we got to the fourth mountain, which gave a pretty good view. I suspect the first one would have had a similar view, but from a different angle.
After lunch, we took a ride up Mount Mee. It was a really long ride (we left the shopping centre where we had lunch at about 1:30, and didn't get home til almost 5pm, the whole time spent at Mount Mee, other than about half an hour of a ride back to their place) but I love long drives. Something really relaxing about them.
Mount Mee was supposed to have a lookout of a waterfall, but all we found were puddles. Haha, so much for a waterfall. I was gonna take a pic of it just to show what the view was but their little girl was looking for an excuse to whip out her camera, so her father said it was so not worth taking a photo of that even I wasn't taking one (since I whip out my camera for the most non-photo-worthy photos, that meant something!) so I couldn't. I guess I could have once they'd started making their way back.
It was a lot cooler today. Lots of showers. Still pretty warm, though, considering I'm used to low temperatures when it rains. At least it wasn't hot. Considering it wasn't hot, and that there would be a bit of tramping involved, I wore sensible shoes.
After dinner, people from their home group (cell group, life group) came over for their weekly study so I joined them. It was on change, so it was actually a really nice session, considering my current situation. And it was nice hearing people pray out loud for me. Felt really comforting. I think I'm gonna be okay.
Gotta do all my washing tomorrow. And repack all my stuff.
Oh, and I just realised from ads here, that Americans are unfamiliar with the concept of roast chicken! And I saw an ad with Robbie Magasiva and was shocked - til I discovered it was an ad for NZ!
